Hey there.

I'm Yoni, a therapist who works with founders, professionals, couples, and families. Before I trained as a clinician, I spent a decade inside tech and startups: operator, investor, Entrepreneur-In-Residence at a startup accelerator, and fundraising consultant. That history is part of why people find me. It's also why you won't spend your first three sessions explaining what your job is.

Most of the people I see aren't in crisis. They're in a loop. Externally, things are working: career, income, output, the whole thing. Underneath, the goalpost keeps moving, and they're the one moving it, automatically, before they've even registered the last win.

What's actually running is a pattern, and patterns have mechanisms. That's where the work happens.

The kind of person who tends to walk into my office has built something, or is in the middle of trying to. They're sharp. They've already done a lot of thinking about themselves. They've gotten to the edge of what thinking alone can solve.

Whether you come in alone, with a partner, or with your family, what stays consistent is this: we work the agenda together, and when I notice something, I'll name it. Warmly, and directly. If you want a therapist who blindly validates without ever offering a read, that's not me. If you want one who'll stay with you through the hard parts and tell you the truth about what they see, we'll get along fine.

If you've made it this far, something brought you. That's usually enough to start.

I spent years in tech as an operator, investor, EIR, and then as a consultant with my own firm, ultimately helping founders raise a total of $30M+ for their startups. I was good at it. I was also working seventeen-hour days and had quietly abandoned any semblance of a life outside of my work.

So, after taking a step back from building the business, I resumed what I loved most: the 1:1 coaching work with builders. Before I was one myself, I referred quite a few clients of mine out to therapists. I heard the same thing almost every time: I don't have time for therapy. They don't get what I do. I spend twenty minutes explaining my job instead of doing the actual work.

It became increasingly clear to me what needed to happen next: if they wouldn’t go to therapy, I would bring therapy to them. So, I got my masters, trained across a number of different specialities, and started doing the actual work.

I bring the same firsthand understanding of what it actually costs to build something, now just with better tools for what people were actually bringing into the room.
